Tunworth (200g)- Simply outstanding! In 2004 two friends Stacey Hedges and Julie Cheyney established Hampshire Cheeses with the aim of producing an artisanal cheese using the highest quality local milk…Two years later they won Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards.
Lancashire Bomb (approx 230g) – The legendary Lancashire Bomb from Andrew Shorrocks is presented in a black wax purse. Made with pasteurised milk from his own herd of Holstein Fresian cows, this handmade strong Lancashire cheese is matured for 24 months. It is very creamy and full of flavour.
Blue Stilton from Colston Bassett (approx 200g) – One of our truly great regional products! Colston Bassett’s handmade Stilton is a pasteurised cows’ milk cheese made with traditonal animal rennet. It is strong in flavour, yet remains smooth and creamy with distinctive blue veins which become more strongly defined as the cheese matures. Named after the place where it was sold rather than produced, Stilton has graced British tables since the 18th century. Both the blue and white stilton have been awarded Protected Designations of Origin (PDO). Today Stilton can only be made in the adjoining counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
