Section 1 – What do we do with your information?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our business, new products and other updates. If you enter your email address as part of the buying process but do not complete your order, we will send you a reminder about the items left in your basket. This is because we believe you may be interested in those products that you’ve selected. We invite you to confirm if you require assistance or you are no longer interested and will not be contacted again.
We use third party service providers from time to time to carry out certain functions (such as web development). Where we use outside service providers, we require the third party to protect personal information in the same manner in which we protect it and to not use or disclose it for any purposes except as directed by British Fine Foods.
