Slow cooked Highland Game venison in a delicious port and redcurrant sauce encased in a buttery shortcrust pastry using single-source Scottish flour.

1) 180°C Oven/ 170°C Fan/ Gas mark 5 for 22 minutes.
3) OR use combination cooking [microwave and oven]. Appliances vary.

  • Ingredients: Flour (WHEAT), venison (19%), chicken stock, water, carrot, celery (CELERY), onion, redcurrant jelly [glucose syrup, redcurrant juice from concentrate, gelling agent (Pectin), Acidity Regulators (Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate), Elderberry Extract], vegetable fat, butter (MILK), port (SULFITES), free range egg (EGG), salt, black pepper, corn flour, xanthan gum [minimum weight 240g]
  • (although every care has been taken to remove shot from venison, some may remain)

To achieve this, we now use several product specific packaging methods and, as standard, only despatch on an overnight delivery service (even though our chilled packaging system keeps fridge temperature for at least 48 hours).
