Gilly - Christian Gilmour's passion for good food came from his Mum who taught him to cook as a child. She taught him the value of using only the finest ingredients to produce the best flavour, and this led to him making his first dressing with Honey & Mustard. As an aspiring racing driver, many of his friends & family encouraged him to sell his dressings to help fund his racing, and Gilly’s Foods was born.
Best known for his balsamic dressings, including the first British produced Blonde balsamic dressing made with white grapes, Christian continues to take his Mum’s advice by using the finest ingredients for his special balsamic dressings, and regularly drives to Italy for the core balsamic vinegar, the south of France for the garlic, and imports the finest sugar & pepper from Madagascar.
Once the vinegar is imported, Gilly's adds vegetable stock, caramel & spices to produce this fabulous range of oil-free dressings.
