Another method of preserving meats from the days before refrigeration, smoked meats are now an art form rather than a necessity...

Aside from the traditional smoked meats, we are thrilled to offer a stunning Smoked Duck from East Sussex, and a Smoked Venison from the Highlands of Scotland. In both cases, the producers started smoking meats as a hobby, and were encouraged to take this up professionally by friends & family who tasted the results!  Subsequently, both have won the highest accolade at the Great Taste Awards.

Wine Match: As a rule, the smokier the meat, the more robust the wine.  Smoked meats work well with oaky wines.
