Wild Boar Pâté with Prunes and Calvados (125g)



This is one of the first of Tom Pyman's medium coarse range.

The Calvados comes through straight away with a warm apple brandy kick.  The smokey bacon and boar marry together so well, and is wonderfully underpinned with a slight sweet but surprising prune taste.  This pâté looks amazing cut in half so you can see all the different textures and colours in it - enjoy!

We met Tom Pyman at a food show in 2008 and we were immediately impressed with the quality of his pâté. One of the reasons that Tom’s pâtés taste so good is due the high quality of local ingredients he uses and the fact that he makes his pâtés as he would in his own kitchen at home, just on a slightly larger scale!
