British Smoked Cheeses

Originally a method used to preserve cheese, nowadays cheese is mainly smoked to add an additional layer of complexity to existing flavours....

Cured through smoking over wood chips (usually oak), smoked cheeses normally have a yellow/brown colour to the skin. Serve with grapes.

Wine match: Try something like a Sauvignon Blanc.
