Spanning 500 ha of soft fruit/arable land, they are one of the largest soft fruit producers in the UK. For Wimbledon, the berry variety chosen by Hugh Lowe Farm was a Malling Centenary variety which boasts exceptional fruit quality characteristics. These include attractive berries with a uniform conical shape and superb, sweet flavour which are Grade 1 English strawberries, though we work with Marion ensuring the most suitable and best quality berries are used.
