A surprisingly mild creamy blue cheese, Wensleydale Blue cheese has been made in Yorkshire since the twelfth century. The cheese is still handcrafted using milk from local farms.
The creamery at Hawes in Wensleydale have been making cheese and winning awards for over 100 years and is campaigning to protect the provenance of Wensleydale.
