This magnificent Port is from one of the UK’s oldest wine merchants and is paired with a fabulous English Stilton from Royal Warrant Holder’s and Justerini & Brooks and Paxton & Whitfield.
- Justerini & Brooks, Director’s Tawny Port (75cl) 20% vol.
Selected from the finest old tawny ports of the Robertson Partnership (Taylor + Fonseca) in the Douro Region in Portugal.
Justerini’s Tawny Port can be enjoyed for its nutty sumptuous fruit. - Paxton & Whitfield English Stilton Jar (225g)
Paxton & Whitfield’s award-winning Stilton is crumbled into these collectable jars, and covered with clarified butter to ensure the quality of the product. When crumbled into a jar, the texture of the cheese is softer and creamier than you would expect from piece of Stilton cut from a whole cheese. Blue Stilton is made with full cream, resulting in a rich cheese both in flavour and texture. With rounded mushroom notes and a little pepperiness.
Beautifully presented in an artisan wooden box tied with ribbon.
What is a Royal Warrant?
Royal Warrants of Appointment have been issued for centuries to tradespeople who supply goods or services to the Royal Household and which entitles the holder of the Royal Warrant to use the Royal Arms in connection with their business.
Justerini & Brooks have been awarded the Royal Warrant by every consecutive British monarch since King George III in 1761. In 1850 with the honour of being appointed cheesemonger to HM Queen Victoria, Paxton & Whitfield gained the first of many Royal Warrants that the Company have held.
