Serve on a platter with other meats and some olives or in a sandwich with salad, roasted peppers and cream cheese.
We have extensively researched and tested many types of packaging and delivery systems to ensure all our exquisite, artisan produced foods arrive at your door in perfect condition. To achieve this, we now use several product specific packaging methods and, as standard, only despatch on an overnight delivery service (even though our chilled packaging system keeps fridge temperature for at least 48 hours).

Dutch Couple Jan Jacob & Anja Baak moved to Roybridge in the Highlands in 2000 for Jan Jacob’s job as an estate manager. Using the wonderful ingredients and produce found on their doorstep (venison & grouse) he started smoking food in his back garden as a hobby and, encouraged by friends, started selling on a part-time basis. Husband & wife team Anja and Jan, have made this passion into a viable business in the Old butchers shop in Roybridge near Ben Nevis. Great Glen Game first won the Golden Fork at the Great Taste Awards for ‘Best Charcuterie Product’ 2013 and have continued to add 3 Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards in 2017 as well as Best Game Product in The British Chacuterie Awards 2019.
