Nannette's English Rose 2016
A blend to reflect the base wine of Balfour Brut Rose; light, fresh and dry with mineral and citrus. Produced by Hush Heath Estate in Kent.
Nannette’s English Rose (named after the Producer’s youngest daughter) is a truly unique still rosé made from the same Champagne varieties as our flagship wine, the Balfour Brut Rosé.
Appearance: Delicate pale apricot, Provençal pink.
Nose: Bright, ripe Kentish strawberries, red apples and pink grapefruit combined with fresh thyme and a hint of nuttiness.
Palate: Dry and refreshing with characteristic English acidity. Wild strawberry, citrus and crisp apple characters dominate.
Great on its own but can accompany a variety of foods, including summer salads, seafood and chicken and pork dishes.
