To make Salar Flaky Smoked Salmon fresh fish are harvested regularly then prepared and smoked at a very high temperature over seasoned oak thereby producing a brown smoky layer but with the flesh still salmon pink and succulent.
The salmon used are grown off the North-West coast of Scotland to a density of less than 2% and are RSPCA Freedom Foods approved which ensures high standards of fish welfare and husbandry.

The legendary Lancashire Bomb from Andrew Shorrocks is presented in a black wax purse. Since the early 20th century four generations of Shorrocks have made this exceptional Tasty Lancashire in Goosnargh near Preston. In 1938 Shorrocks Tasty Lancashire won the renowned Preston Open Cheese Fair beating all-comers at a time when every farm was making cheese. The same traditions and the dedication of one family have resulted today in a fantastic example of a true regional classic. Made with milk from their own herd of Holstein Friesian cows this handmade strong Lancashire is matured for 24 months. It is very creamy and full of flavour. Approx 230g.

This is one of the first of Tom Pyman's medium coarse range and there will be a few more to come. The Calvados comes through straight away with a warm apple brandy kick. The smokey bacon and boar marry together so well and is supported wonderfully with a slight sweet but surprising prune taste. This pate looks amazing cut in half so you can see all the different textures and colours in it - enjoy!
