FATHER'S DAY ORDER & DELIVERY INFORMATION

To ensure delivery before Father's Day, please order your Gift by 9am Wednesday 12th June. If your order is placed after this date we will do all we can to deliver in time for Father's Day, however it may not be possible with certain stock items such as Pies. Please do contact us if you have any queries about an order you may wish to place on 01892 890690 and we will be very happy to advise you.


Our last standard delivery date before Father's Day is Friday 14th June. Saturday delivery is possible on request, however please be aware that all Saturday deliveries incur a £12.00 supplement .

What happens when you have placed your order...
You will receive an email confirming your purchase. A second email will then be sent confirming your delivery date. If you have a delivery date request this can be placed in the comments box on the checkout page, we will do our very best to fulfill your request. Once your date of despatch has been confirmed you will receive an email with your tracking information.

General Delivery Information:
We guarantee delivery within a maximum of 5 working days, however in most cases we are able to deliver sooner than this. If you require your order the next day, please do contact us on 01892 890 690, or email us at info@britishfinefoods.com

SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATES
If you require a specific delivery date simply write the date you would like into the 'Additional Comments' box on the checkout page and we will do our upmost to fulfil your request, provided it is between Tuesday - Friday. Please note we do not dispatch fresh goods over the weekend for delivery on Monday.

What are the Postage & Packaging costs?

This cost includes overnight delivery via a courier company, and also covers the insulated box, ice packs & recyclable filling to ensure your parcel arrives in the best condition.

Orders under £100 are as follows:

England, Wales and Scotland (Not including Scottish Highlands and Islands): STANDARD 9am-5pm: £7.95
England, Wales and Scotland (Not including Scottish Highlands and Islands): BEFORE MIDDAY: £10.50
England, Wales and Scotland (Not including Scottish Highlands and Islands): BEFORE 10am: £12.95
For Scottish Highlands and islands, Channel Islands STANDARD 9AM-5PM: £15.50
For Isle of Man, Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland STANDARD 9AM-5PM: £18.95

Please note that due to subsidising the cost of temperature controlled packaging and postage our minimum order is £15.00

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the mainland UK, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands. We also offer delivery worldwide for certain products, please do contact us if you would like to send an order overseas on 01892 890 690 or email info@britishfinefoods.com

Can I have a Saturday delivery?

Please note we can offer a Saturday delivery for a £12 supplement. This is a direct cost charged to us from Parcelforce.

Why do you not deliver on Mondays?

We don’t deliver on Mondays because we will not compromise the quality of the product by leaving your parcel in a delivery warehouse over the weekend. Our deliveries are temperature- controlled and we intend for your order to arrive in the condition in which it was made.

Temperature Controlled Chilled Packaging

All food and hamper orders are packaged in chilled temperature controlled boxes with bespoke linings and cold gel packs to ensure that your food arrives at the optimum chilled temperature for your enjoyment. Following extensive testing, our packaging has been certified to maintain food at fridge temperature for 48 hours.

Can I recycle the packaging?

Yes. In line with our aim of minimizing our impact on the environment and reducing food miles with our ‘one order, one delivery’ policy, our packaging is manufactured from closed cell non-cross linked polyethylene, a material that is fully recyclable; already 60% recycled and fully reusable. The void fill chips are called ‘biofill’ and are made from natural starch, are 100% biodegradable, compostable, and we are told are the secret weapon of fly fishermen! If not sending back the liner, please do recycle the cardboard outer box.

Please re-use the ice packs for your own picnics. The ice packs are filled with purified and distilled water so can be opened and poured down the drain; the plastic can then be recycled.

Who will deliver?

All deliveries are sent via overnight courier by Parcelforce. When we send you the email confirming despatch we will detail which company we are using. Please see the below information regarding each carrier.

Can you deliver to my workplace?

Yes.

Do you offer a timed delivery?

Yes. Before 10am & Before Midday. For our before 10am service with Parcelforce the cost will be £11.95 up to 30kg. Please note that we are unable to offer a timed service to the Scottish Highlands & islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Isles of Scilly.

What happens if I’m out when my delivery is attempted?

Parcelforce operate a no signature required delivery scheme. If you are not in the driver will attempt to leave the parcel in a safe place, or with a neighbour. If there is not a safe place then it will be taken to the local post office & a card will be left to say where the delivery is being held. The customer must take this card together a form of ID, driving licence, passport etc...to the Post Office & collect their parcel.

Do you offer a next day delivery?

This is often possible, however we work with small, artisan producers who may only deliver on certain days of the week.

Please remember some of the products you order will only be made at your request.

Most ambient items are held in stock and can be delivered next day.
