Lancashire Bomb (approx 460g) from Andrew Shorrocks - The legendary Lancashire Bomb from Andrew Shorrocks is presented in a black wax purse. Made with pasteurised milk from their own herd of Holstein Fresian cows this handmade strong Lancashire is matured for 24 months. It is very creamy and full of flavour. Made with vegetarian rennet.
Blue Stilton from Colston Bassett (min 200g.) - One of our truly great regional products! Colston Bassett's handmade Stilton is a pasteurised cows' milk cheese made with traditonal animal rennet. It is strong in flavour yet remains smooth and creamy with distinctive blue veins which become more strongly defined as the cheese matures. Named after the place where it was sold rather than produced Stilton has graced British tables since the 18th century. Both blue and white stilton have been awarded Protected Designations of Origin (PDO). Today Stilton can only be made in the adjoining counties of Nottinghamshire Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
Quince & Damson Fruit Cheese (125g) from Quince Products - 2* Gold Great Taste Award Winner. Fruit cheeses are not Cheese but a very heavy fruit puree known as cheeses since Georgian Times when they were eaten with Cheese! It goes well with all cheeses but is an ideal accompaniment for blue cheese.
Paxton & Whitfield Original Crackers 150g
