A true regional classic, the Lancashire Bomb Cheese is matured for 24 months, it is then wrapped in muslin, and dipped into wax creating a wonderfully creamy mature, tasty Lancashire Cheese like no other! The Shorrock family have been producing this cheese since 1923 and are from Goosnagh in Lancashire. It is fabulous on a cheese board when you have friends for dinner or Sunday lunch, alternatively keep it for yourself and enjoy it with a nice glass or red wine!

Like all Quickes cheeses the Red Leicester is produced by hand using traditional methods. The curds are milled twice before being placed into the moulds resulting in a delicious crumbly texture. Maturing the cheese for up to 4 months provides a distinctive creamy flavour. This product is made using vegetarian rennet.
